Meeting Maker Installation Procedures

  1. Install Meeting Maker Client (Call CollegeIT to request the installation files).
  2. Open the client, and next to Server click "Select". In the window that appears, select "College-MM" and click "Select".
    • If nothing appears in the server list, click "Configure..." and enter "slurpee.uchicago.edu,128.135.57.208" in the server list. Click "OK" and then wait a sec. If still nothing, call Avi.
  3. Log in with your CNet ID and password.
  4. Set up user preferences (For College Advisers only, OPTIONAL for others)
    1. Edit > Time Zone and confirm it is set to "USA Central".
    2. Edit > Preferences
      • General:
        • Check "Auto-accept during free time"
        • Enter smtp host: smtp.uchicago.edu
        • Confirm email address for user
      • Labels
        • 1 = Lunch
        • 2 = AOC
        • 3 = Staff Meeting (required)
        • 4 = Brown Bag (optional)
        • 5 = Committee Meeting
        • 6 = New Adviser Session
      • Notifications
        • Set all Reminder Defaults to "Never"
