Meeting Maker Installation Procedures
- Install Meeting Maker Client (Call CollegeIT to request the installation files).
- Open the client, and next to Server click "Select". In the window that appears, select "College-MM" and click "Select".
- If nothing appears in the server list, click "Configure..." and enter "slurpee.uchicago.edu,128.135.57.208" in the server list. Click "OK" and then wait a sec. If still nothing, call Avi.
- Log in with your CNet ID and password.
- Set up user preferences (For College Advisers only, OPTIONAL for others)
- Edit > Time Zone and confirm it is set to "USA Central".
- Edit > Preferences
- General:
- Check "Auto-accept during free time"
- Enter smtp host: smtp.uchicago.edu
- Confirm email address for user
- Labels
- 1 = Lunch
- 2 = AOC
- 3 = Staff Meeting (required)
- 4 = Brown Bag (optional)
- 5 = Committee Meeting
- 6 = New Adviser Session
- Notifications
- Set all Reminder Defaults to "Never"
- There's no step 5!
